Seagate Harddrive Alert
I bought a 20 GB E.I.D.E Seagate 5400 RPM hardrive, and installed it in one of my computers in January 2005. And it died today. I lost a lot of stuff. I thought I was doing a great thing by upgrading to a larger harddrive. But today I put the original 4GB harddrive back in the computer, and it ran much faster than the Seagate has in months!
It should've been a warning signal that the machine was slowing down. I thought it was because of all of the applications and services I had running.
I do not recommend this particular harddrive.
