God is Chair of GOP

You tell me if this isn't one the most blasphemous things you've ever heard someone say.

"He is the chairman of this party," [Tina Benkiser] said against a backdrop of flags and a GOP seal with its red, white and blue logo. The party platform, adopted Saturday, declares "America is a Christian nation" and affirms that "God is undeniable in our history and is vital to our freedom."

Tina is the Chair of the Republican Party of Texas. I'm sure her remarks were well received by the folks down there.

Perhaps it was just as blaspehmous when Hitler said, "Gott mit uns." No, I think this crazy Texas thing is even more blasphemous.

"He is the chairman of this party."
